INTRODUCTION
The Lodge is situated in a typically beautiful rural part of Somerset, approximately 4 miles from Yeovil, 6 miles from Sherborne and 3 miles from the A303.
The cattery is close to the house, allowing easy access in all weather, day and night. Each chalet has a view of the garden and the woods beyond, offering much to interest the cats throughout their stay with us.
The cattery is built to FAB standards and the cats are housed in spacious, individually heated chalets, each with its own run. There is a generous space between each run so that whilst each cat can see its neighbour, there can be no direct contact. Each chalet is large enough to house two cats comfortably from the same home and there are three that can accommodate up to four cats.
The cattery is run by Clare, who has completed the Feline Advisory Bureau’s (FAB) approved Cattery Management course at a cattery in Sussex and has had a lifetime of looking after her own animals, ranging from ponies to guinea-pigs.
We are both animal lovers and you can be assured that your cat will be cared for as if it were our own. All diets and idiosyncrasies are catered for (with the exception of veterinary prescribed food, which will need to be provided).
Bedding, toys and scratch posts are provided, but if there is anything else you would like to bring to help your cat settle please feel free to do so.
